ABOUT US

Roots of Ilm, Dawah, and Amal - RIDA Foundation has been a dream of US-based Ulama who have served the Michigan community in various capacities for the past 15 years. After years of serving, we recognized the need to focus on our rich history and develop a balance in the three essential parts of a believer's life: knowledge, propagation, and actionable reform for one's surroundings.

OUR MISSION

To cultivate a deep understanding of Islamic knowledge and its practical application in daily life, while serving humanity with compassion and dedication.

LONG-TERM GOALS

Structured Hifz Program: A comprehensive program to support students in memorizing the Quran

Mental Health and Wellness Center: A dedicated space to support the mental health and well-being of our community members

Soup Kitchen: A program to provide food and support to those in need, promoting community service and social responsibility

Part-time Ālimiyyah: A structured program nurturing future leaders and scholars, designed for busy students to access the sciences of our Deen.

A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

We're excited to announce that the RIDA Foundation, a tax-exempt organization and registered 501(c)3 in Michigan, is merging with ILM Musaajid (Musallah Darul Ummah), a well-known Musallah and Maktab. This strategic move enables us to expand our reach and enhance our services to the community in Clinton Township, an area with a growing Muslim population.

WHY WE ARE RELOCATING

  1. Sterling Heights: The property is located on the border of Sterling Heights and Clinton Township.

  2. Utica: about 6.07 miles away from Clinton Township

  3. Fraser: roughly 4.28 miles away from Clinton Township

  4. Roseville: approximately 9.28 miles away from Clinton Township

  5. Harrison Township: located nearby, where the Clinton River flows into Lake St. Clair

  6. Shelby Township: approximately 7.5 miles away from Clinton Township

  7. Mount Clemens: About 5.6 miles away from Clinton Township

High demand and need for our services in the area drove our decision to relocate. With a significant Muslim population in Michigan, comprising about 2.4% of the total population, and a sizeable Muslim population in Macomb County, we believe our new location will serve as a hub for spiritual growth, education, and community building.
